The CTS Home Watch Story
Called to Serve Home Watch has more than 17 years of experience in the home services and cleaning industry. Called to Serve (CTS) Home Watch was created by the first-hand experience Oscar and Nora Ratto had while preparing to serve an LDS Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Like many other senior couples, the thought of leaving their home to unknown renters or closed up and vacant caused a huge burden in their preparations.
Lucky for them, Tomas Ratto (their son) and Kimberly Ratto (daughter-in-law) were able to take care of their home and belongings while they were away.
While on their LDS mission, Oscar and Nora Ratto became very close to other Senior Missionary couples. On several occasions Oscar and Nora heard horror stories from the other LDS missionary couples about problems they were having with their homes. One told of horrible renters who were continually causing problems in their neighborhood. Another spoke of their home becoming the eye-sore house of the neighborhood because the renters were not “loving” the home like an owner would. One final couple who left their home vacant while they were serving told (upon returning home from their mission) that the refrigerator had sprung a leak, decayed the flooring and plummeted from the kitchen to the downstairs living room causing over $10,000 in almost un-repairable damages.
Through all this, Oscar and Nora were able to serve faithfully, uninterrupted. Receiving weekly updates from Tomas Ratto about the status of their home, they were able to focus on what mattered most. Tomas and Kimberly had maintained the home in pristine condition.
In fact, Tomas and Kimberly had taken such good care of the home, that upon Oscar and Nora’s return, they were approached by several other Senior LDS Missionary Couples & Mission Presidents preparing to serve a Mission hoping they would take care of their home as they had for Oscar and Nora.
From this, Called To Serve Home Watch was created, to assist and serve, not only Senior Missionary couples, but anyone who is contemplating leaving a home for any period of time (extended vacation, winter homes, snowbirds, etc). We are here to be your eyes and ears as you temporarily leave your home behind.
THE PEOPLE
Tomas and Kimberly Ratto bring over 15 years of marketing, business and customer service experience to the team. With a Bachelors in Business Marketing from the University of Utah and a Masters of Business Administration from Weber State University, Tomas and Kimberly are keen on bringing customers the best solutions to their problems. With many years of Home Watch service experience, there is nothing these two haven’t solved.
Oscar and Nora Ratto bring over 23 years of house cleaning and maintenance services to CTS Home Watch. In 1989 Oscar and Nora Ratto founded Life Savers House Cleaning, as their friendships with clients grew, so did their company. Since the launch of Life Savers Housecleaning they have earned the trust and respect of many in their community, as well as a great reputation for being detail oriented!
